Program Overview
The annual State-of-the-State of the Interactive Media industry is here again! This year we bring you the executives who helped create Blizzard's Warcraft and Starcraft franchises, and who brought you products like Gears of War, Microsoft's Kinect, Valve's Portal 2 and Steam distribution.
This event is for industry insiders and for newcomers. The program will begin with the release of the preliminary data of our new economic impact study. Next, the panel of industry executives from Warner Bros Games, Valve, Microsoft, and En Masse will explore the ever-changing industry of interactive media and video games. The panel will discuss smartphones and tablets vs traditional gaming, and when digital will take over. They will also discuss consolidation in the marketplace and overcoming challenges in customer retention, endless competition, and more. What is happening with big publishers? Who survives? Will social gaming be destined to grow? Or is it a bubble?
All these questions will be answered and more. On February 3rd, find out what will be coming next, and how you can re-invent yourself to stay afloat.
